"Blood Tea and Red String" is a labor of love, taking creator Christiane Cegavske 13 years to realize. the internal hero’s journey parallels the creation of the film itself – epic in scope and speckled with lovingly crafted objects of minute detail. i equally want to touch and preserve this world and even the film's structure - i want to play in it, reorder events, and then set everything right again.
